Julie VanThof is a native of upstate New York.  She received her undergraduate degree in English from SUNY at Buffalo.  She graduated from the LSU Hebert Law Center in 1998, and was employed by Blanchard Walker for two years, where she was a licensed agent for First American Title Insurance Company.  She served at the Second Circuit Court of Appeal as Judge Jay Caraway's law clerk from 2000 until 2009.  Prior to attending law school, Ms. VanThof was the firm's abstractor for nine years, and later employed by Caddo Abstract & Title Company.  She joined St. Mark's Cathedral Altar Guild in 2006, and enjoys her family, her dogs, bicycling and gardening.
