Ms. Gustavson's primary areas of practice are commercial litigation and contract issues.  She received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Rhodes College and received her law degree, cum laude, from Tulane University School of Law.  She was also a recipient of the Tulane European Legal Certificate.  Ms. Gustavson is a member of both the Shreveport and Louisiana Bar Associations.  She was admitted to practice in 2004 and joined the firm in 2007.  Prior to joining Cook Yancey, Ms. Gustavson practiced law in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she focused on insurance coverage and defense issues. Ms. Gustavson is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.  Outside of the legal community, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet.
