Melanie A. Wise Shreveport, Louisiana
Ms. Wise received her law degree in 2006 from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, graduating with honors, and was an active member of the Moot Court Board. She received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Arts degree from Louisiana Tech University in 1999 and 2002, respectively. From August 2006 through August 2007, Ms. Wise served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Donald E. Walter, United States District Judge for the Western District of Louisiana. Before becoming an attorney, Ms. Wise served as a Congressional Caseworker for the Honorable Jim McCrery, United States Representative for the Fourth Congressional District of Louisiana. Admitted to practice in Arkansas in 2006, Ms. Wise joined Cook, Yancey, King & Galloway, APLC in 2007. A member of the American Bar Association, Arkansas Bar Association, and Louisiana State Bar Association, she practices primarily in the area of labor and employment law.
