Mr. Nickelson is a commercial litigator.  He holds a B.A. from Texas Christian University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and a law degree from the University of Virginia.  Before joining Cook, Yancey, King & Galloway, Mr. Nickelson practiced with Baker Botts L.L.P. in Dallas, Texas and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jennifer Walker Elrod, United States Circuit Judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  He is rated BV Distinguished by Martindale-Hubbell.
