On March 3, 2022, Lisa C. Cronin was named the Virginia K. Shehee Most Influential Woman.

In addition to Lisa’s practice at Cook Yancey, she has taught Commercial Law for the Frost School of Business at Centenary College of Shreveport for the last six years.  She joined the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of North Louisiana in 2019, and currently serves as Treasurer.  Lisa is also on the Board of Trustees for her church, Grace Community United Methodist Church.  She is a member of the Women’s Philanthropy Network.

Perhaps her most influential work in our community is at Common Ground Community, Inc., where she serves as CEO.

Common Ground is committed to making a difference in the Cedar Grove neighborhood of Shreveport through compassionate outreach, building relationships, and acceptance of all people.  Common Ground is a group from all backgrounds and faiths, who has been putting their feet to their faith in the Cedar Grove neighborhood of Shreveport for more than 20 years.  Common Ground is primarily volunteer-driven with support from many churches from the Shreveport-Bossier-Benton region. They serve and build lasting relationships with their neighbors in Cedar Grove who may be hungry or lacking in other basic needs.  More information about Common Ground can be found at https://commongroundshreveport.com/.
