Ms. Dorward’s litigation practice encompasses the areas of construction law, including construction defect litigation; environmental and toxic tort litigation, as well as legacy lawsuits; oil and gas litigation; general representation of municipalities; and commercial litigation.

She received her Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women; honored on the Dean’s List; and a member of the Order of Omega and Tau Sigma Honors Societies.

Ms. Dorward obtained her Juris Doctor and Diploma of Comparative Law from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center. She was the recipient of the Dean’s Scholar Award; a board member of the Ethics Committee; a Semi-Finalist in the Flory Mock Trial Competition; and a board member of the Student Bar Association’s Athletic Committee. She was elected to represent the law center’s student body as a Louisiana State University Student Senator where she sat on the Student Auxiliary Services and Graduate Student committees. Additionally, she coached freshman, junior varsity, and varsity volleyball for a local Baton Rouge high school, taking them to the LHSAA State Playoff Tournament every year she coached.

Ms. Dorward is an alumni of Loyola College Preparatory, a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and a volunteer with Shreveport Green’s Household Hazardous Waste Collection.

Ms. Dorward joined the firm in 2022 and was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in the same year. She is a member of the Louisiana State and Shreveport Bar Associations. She is admitted to practice in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, Western District of Louisiana, Middle District of Louisiana, and Eastern District of Louisiana.
