He received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge Louisiana in 1978 with a B. A. in English. He earned his law degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he was on the Louisiana Law Review and received the Am Jur Award in Contracts. A member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Mr. Hearne is active in the Shreveport Bar Pro Bono Project. He is rated BV Distinguished by Martindale-Hubbell.
