Cook Yancey King & Galloway is seeking a recent graduate or lateral candidate for a partnership-track position in our litigation practice group.  The work will primarily consist of representing local government entities, including sheriffs, municipalities, and police juries in defense of Section 1983 claims.  Lateral hires are eligible for credit towards partnership based upon experience.  Candidates must have an interest in practicing in North Louisiana, as well as strong academic credentials and writing abilities.

Cook Yancey is one of the largest, oldest law firms based in North Louisiana.  It maintains a diverse practice in all areas of civil practice, representing local, regional, and national clients. This is a full-time salaried position in Shreveport with a total benefits package, including health insurance and a 401k package.  This position is eligible for a relocation bonus.
