Mr. Davis primarily practices in the areas of (1) estate planning and successions and (2) representation of local government entities, including sheriffs, municipalities, and police juries, in litigation. Mr. Davis also advises companies and individuals in other transactional matters, such as formation of LLC’s and other business and non-profit entities, real estate transactions, and contract drafting.

Mr. Davis has tried cases at the trial court level, and he has argued cases before both the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Louisiana Second Circuit Court of Appeal.

Mr. Davis served as a law clerk for the Honorable S. Maurice Hicks, Jr., United States District Judge for the Western District of Louisiana, Shreveport Division (2016-2017), before joining the firm. Outside the practice of law, he serves on the Volunteers of America Visionaries Committee and the Board of Directors of Literacy Volunteers at Centenary College, and he previously served as the Treasurer of the Shreveport Bar Association Young Lawyers’ Section.
