Mr. Kalmbach practices primarily in the business, estate planning, and taxation areas. He received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, where he was elected Phi Beta Kappa; his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as Senior Editor of the Georgetown International Law Journal; and his LL.M. degree in estate planning from the University of Miami in 1996. Mr. Kalmbach was admitted to the bar in Maryland, Washington, D.C., Louisiana, and Texas in 1988, 1989 and 1990, and 1995 respectively, and practiced with the law firm of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan in Washington, D.C., and New York City.
