After eight years as General Counsel and Director of Claims at Querbes & Nelson Insurance—an established name in the Shreveport business community—Allison returned to Cook Yancey, bringing a wealth of in-house experience. At Querbes & Nelson, she built a reputation as a fierce and trusted advocate for high-value clients, overseeing claims and advising on comprehensive risk management strategies across multiple industries.
Allison is deeply involved in the legal community. She currently serves as President of the Shreveport Bar Foundation and chairs the North Louisiana Community Partnership Panel for the Louisiana Bar Foundation. She previously served on the board of the Shreveport Bar Association Young Lawyers’ Division and on the Louisiana Bar Foundation’s grant review committee.
Committed to service beyond the legal field, Allison is Vice President of the Board of Catholic Charities of North Louisiana and contributes as a grant writer for Volunteers of America North Louisiana, helping secure funding for vital community programs.
Originally from New Orleans, Allison has called Shreveport home since 2012. She and her husband, Ben, a local orthodontist, have three children and are actively engaged in the community they love.
